While there are many things to do in the country of Belize we will focus on things that can be done from a piece of ground during a day trip. All the activities listed on this page have proven to be the preferred activities for most of our guests, but by no means do they represent all that you can do from a piece of ground. Lubaantun Historical Site

San Pedro/Columbia, Toledo

    Lubaantun (sometimes spelled Lubaantún) is a Pre-Columbian ruined city of the Maya civilization in southern Belize, Central America. Lubaantun is in Belize's Toledo District, about 26 miles northwest of Punta Gorda, at an elevation of 200 feet above sea level. One of the most distinguishing features of Lubaantun is the large collection of miniature ceramic objects found on site; these detailed constructs are thought to have been charmstones or ritual accompanying acoutrements.
